BUGLISI DANCE THEATRE

ASHLEY MERKER was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She began her formal training at Purchase College, SUNY where she graduated in 2017. Following she was invited by Ms. Buglisi to join Buglisi Dance Theatre, performing Requiem at the Hatlen Theater, Santa Barbara. While in school she performed works by Kimberly Bartosik, Aszure Barton, Martha Graham, Doug Varone and Trisha Brown and had the opportunity to study dance abroad for four months in Perth, Australia.
