We are thrilled to announce the release of the book “Table of Silence Project”, a labor of love designed and produced by photographer Paul B. Goode in collaboration with Buglisi Dance Theatre. The book tells the evolving story of BDT’s annual Call to Action for Peace through photographs selected from the more than 50,000 images taken by Paul B. Goode over 12 years and essays by the photographer himself, Jacqulyn Buglisi, Terese Capucilli, artistic collaborators and dancers.
The book is on sale HERE. After printing costs, 100% of the sales proceeds will go to Buglisi Dance Theatre for future productions of the "Table of Silence Project." Signed copies are available directly from BDT. Your support is deeply appreciated. Thank you!

30th Anniversary Year
Buglisi Dance Theatre’s inventive programming illuminates the power and resilience of the human spirit. This season’s program is performed by a stunning, multi-generational cast of 15 dancers and features re-imaginings of iconic BDT repertoire, including Frida, a multi-media work that celebrates the heroic life of artist Frida Kahlo, a woman of extraordinary passions and extreme magnetism, with original cast Terese Capucilli and Christine Dakin, stars of contemporary dance, and internationally-acclaimed Taiwanese Guest Artist PeiJu Chien-Pott; Caravaggio Meets Hopper, a study in contrasts, isolation, and human relationships with Special Guests Elisa Clark and Chris Bloom; and, inspired by Dead Can Dance’s album The Serpent’s Egg and score for The Host of Seraphim, Buglisi’s World Premiere, A Walk Through Fire, on overcoming grief and loss as humanity finds itself on the precipice of all life changing, while recognizing the power of love.

Choreographed by Virginie Mécène, UNUM, a trio for 3 men, explores the idea that mankind comes from the same source of energy. UNUM (one in Latin) is a collaboration between Mécène and composer Jacopo Baboni Schilingi that utilizes groundbreaking medical technology to measure the breath. The dancer’s breath is translated into sound as they move through the choreography. Unconsciously, we are One.

Buglisi…works in images that seduce the eye as much as the imagination… a rarity in today’s world…Probably no woman, other than Graham, has plumbed such emotional depths choreographically.
