BUGLISI DANCE THEATRE

JESSICA SGAMBELLURI holds a BFA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College, where she graduated in 2014. Upon graduating, she joined Graham 2 and earned the title of the Pearl Lang Award recipient. She then danced for TED Talks Live, Odyssey Dance Theater, Caterina Rago Dance Company, and in 2017 joined Buglisi Dance Theatre. In 2019, Jessica joined Limón Dance Company, and later was a dancer in the production of The Metropolitan Opera’s “Der Fliegende Hollander”. Jessica worked as a rehearsal assistant during BDT’s residencies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Yale, and the annual Table of Silence Project at Lincoln Center and performs featured roles in Requiem, Moss Anthology, and The Threads Project#1: Universal Dialogues.
