BUGLISI DANCE THEATRE

LLYOD KNIGHT was born in England, reared in Miami, and trained at the Miami Conservatory of Ballet. He has a BFA from the New World School of the Arts, and received scholarships to The Ailey School, Dance Theatre of Harlem and the Martha Graham School. Mr. Knight joined the Martha Graham Company in 2005, and was promoted to principal in 2014. Dance Magazine named him as one of the “Top 25 Dancers to Watch” in 2010. Mr. Knight has performed with Buglisi Dance Theatre in the annual Table of Silence Project at Lincoln Center, and in featured roles inVirginie Mécène’s UNUM at Kaatsbaan, and Jacqulyn Buglisi's Sand and Bare to the Wall Suite.
